In Orb: On the Movements of the Earth, Jolenta tells Oczy that Count Piast, whose research she helps with, values the geocentric theory more than anyone, but values truth even more. Then she says this line, and adds that even wild beasts without reason and sinful humans, which ought to be wretched, all have beauty. Both were raised to see this world as a place of misery to be left behind for heaven.

It is from volume 3 (chapter 20) of the manga. Some quote sites give the line without a speaker, but it is usually credited to Jolenta, and one ranking says she says it to an anxious Oczy. In a faith that treats this world as something to endure until heaven, calling it "too fascinating" is quietly bold. It may also be quoted after a hard day that still had a beautiful moment.

•「この世」= this world (as opposed to あの世, the afterlife). •「最低」= the worst. •「〜と言うには」= to call it ~. •「〜すぎる」= too ~.

〜と言うには〜すぎる means "too ~ to be called ~". Here 言う means "to call", not "to say something to someone".
