『ドラゴンクエストV』の花嫁選びで、主人公が花嫁候補ではなく大富豪ルドマン本人に話しかけると、ルドマンはあわててこう言う。サラボナのルドマンの屋敷で、主人公はフローラかビアンカ（DS版以降はデボラも）を選ぶことになるが、ルドマンを選ぶことはできず、もう一度選び直すことになる。
In Dragon Quest V, the hero must choose his bride at the mansion of Rudoman, the rich man of Salabona. Instead of choosing Flora or Bianca (or Debora, added in the DS version), the player can walk up to Rudoman himself and talk to him. He is shocked, says this, and tells the hero to choose again.
