Scene in the Original Work:
In the Doraemon story 「ご先祖さまがんばれ」, Doraemon says this to Nobita, who has disguised himself as his timid ancestor Nobisaku and gone into a battle in the past so that Nobisaku can win glory. When Nobita asks which side to help, Doraemon tells him 「てきとうにやんなよ」 ("Just do whatever"), and when Nobita insists they must help the side that is right, Doraemon answers with this.
