『チ。―地球の運動について―』の終盤（第8巻、アニメ第23話）で、地動説はもう異端ではないと司教アントニに告げられたノヴァクは、教会に火を放ち、ドゥラカとの争いで深い傷を負って倒れる。そんな彼の前に、若きラファウの幻が現れる。異端者を追い続けた人生をふり返り、ノヴァクはこう語る。
Near the end of Orb: On the Movements of the Earth (Volume 8, anime Episode 23), the aging Nowak, crushed after Bishop Antoni tells him heliocentrism will no longer be treated as heresy, sets fire to a church and is badly wounded in a struggle with Draka. An apparition of young Rafal appears, and Nowak, looking back on his life of hunting heretics, says this line.
