In the film Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro, Lupin sneaks into the north tower of the castle, where Princess Clarisse is held prisoner, and says this to her. Clarisse thinks he is reckless and does not know how dangerous the Count is. Lupin performs a small magic trick, makes a flower appear and offers it to her with this line, promising he can do far more. Soon after, the Count's trap drops him into the castle's underground.

The 1979 film was Hayao Miyazaki's first feature as director, and this line is often listed with Zenigata's "he stole your heart" as one of its best. It shows Lupin's light, gentle way of cheering someone up. It may also be quoted, a little shyly, when giving a small gift.
