Scene in the Original Work:
In Jujutsu Kaisen (the Shibuya Incident arc), Kento Nanami is badly burned in battle and then attacked by the cursed spirit Mahito. In his last moment, he sees the image of his late friend Haibara pointing at Yuji Itadori, and says this to Itadori.

Cultural Context:
Nanami was a calm, adult sorcerer who looked after Itadori. Just before this he thinks that saying more would become a "curse" on Itadori, so he leaves only these short words. The scene in the 2023 anime hit many fans hard. In daily life 後は頼みます is an ordinary handover phrase at work.
