Original Scene & Cultural Context
Scene in the Original Work:
In Part 3, Stardust Crusaders, Polnareff, then still DIO's assassin, fights Avdol in Hong Kong. Avdol's flame attack hits Silver Chariot and melts it, and Polnareff seems to be beaten. Then he rises into the air lying flat, held up by his Stand, and claps as he says this, praising Avdol's flames. Chariot had only lost its armor and is now much faster.

Cultural Context:
The strange pose of a man floating sideways while clapping made this one of Polnareff's best-known scenes. The line is also remembered from video game adaptations. It may also be said, half-jokingly, to praise a great performance or a clever move.
