Cultural Context:
Gorenger began in 1975, based on a work by Shotaro Ishinomori, and is counted as the first Super Sentai series. This team roll call became the model for many later Sentai teams. It has also been parodied, for example in the comedy sketch Seikimatsu Sentai Gorenjai. People may also say "The ___ of us together..." half-jokingly when a group of friends finally gathers.
