Capcom's courtroom adventure game series, which began on the Game Boy Advance in 2001 with Shu Takumi as writer and director. Defense attorney Ryuichi Naruhodo (Phoenix Wright in English) investigates cases and, in court, presents evidence to expose contradictions in witnesses' testimony. A live-action film directed by Takashi Miike came out in 2012, and a TV anime by A-1 Pictures aired from 2016. The shout 「異議あり！」 is the symbol of the series.
